Purpose: This study was undertaken to investigate how sedative-hypnotics affect the occurrence and severity of patient's symptoms. In addition, we conducted a determine type patients who reacted severely required hospitalization; were accordingly classified as hospitalized discharged from emergency room. Methods: From January 2017 December 2019, investigated demographics, drug information, history, laboratory tests, visited our department diagnosed with benzodiazepine, zolpidem, doxylamine succinate overdose. We further compared details patients. Results: Subjects had overdosed ED included 120 for 147 27 succinate. Comparisons between three groups revealed differences in their early diagnosis, psychiatric sleep disturbance. Differences also determined mental state, poisoning treatment received intensive care unit, intubation ventilator support. cases benzodiazepine overdose, obtained high hospitalization rate (40.0%), admission unit (24.2%), (18.3%). showed transferred patients, state. Conclusion: Patients poisoned by are increasing every year. rates high, overdose resulted hospitalization, admission, pneumonia majority cases. Therefore, active quick decisions room greatly required.
